Questions

Restaurant management software: the short answers.

What does restaurant management software do?

It runs the jobs around service: rotas and clocking in, food safety checks and temperatures, allergens, the HACCP plan, incident records, cash-up and team messages.

Does Last Orders write our HACCP plan?

It drafts one from the checks your venue already runs. You read and confirm each step, and editing a confirmed plan takes the confirmation away until it is read again.

Is it aligned with Food Standards Agency guidance?

The standard checks and their limits are taken from FSA guidance, such as fridges at 0 to 5°C and hot holding above 63°C.

Can staff use their own phones?

Yes. Last Orders installs from the browser on any phone, and there is a shared kiosk mode for clocking in behind the counter.

Does it connect to our till?

Not yet. Cash-up is entered by hand today. Till connections are being built.
